Coast is Clear

Drink up, throw down
and run for the hills
Light up, light out
and practice your smile
They’ve won, we’ve lost
There’s no living here.
Shove off, turn loose
and study the map
There’s new ways to laugh at
the trouble we’re in.
Get used to taking
one on the chin.
    So pack all your bags,
   Find your winter coat,
and don’t come on back until
   the coast is clear.
Godspeed you on,
along the treeline.
The northstar’s a beacon,
its light is so strong.
The tide is your shepherd
The moon is your song.
    So take a last look
   and fold up your flag
and don’t come on back until
   the coast is clear.
So long, farewell
I’m leaving right now.
Goodbye, God Bless.
there’s not much more time.
Take care of yourself
and drop me a line.
   So long.
